Workers in Singapore can expect higher salary increments in 2023, according to a report by HR firm Links International.
In its latest Asia Pacific Salary Guide, Links said that pay hikes this year could go as far as above 20 percent as companies “gear up to retain as well as attract the best talent in a recession”.
In August last year, a report by broking and solutions company WTW showed that 66 percent of firms are concerned over the tight labour market.
43.1 percent of firms said they are concerned about employee expectations.

In August last year, roughly 30 percent of officers in the civil service received 5 percent and 14 percent salary increases.
