Tailgating isn’t an offence in Singapore, but that’s little comfort to this LTA officer who was sent flying off his bike after the car in front of him braked all of a sudden.
The LTA officer had just switched lanes and appears to be tailgating the car in front when it braked.
Even if he wasn’t tailgating, the officer apparently wasn’t alert enough to stop his motorcycle in time.
Facebook user SG Swifter uploaded that video last night, commenting “I feel very bad I tried my best not to laugh.”
Funny, yes, but read-end collision often results in the driver behind paying compensation via insurance for any damage caused to the vehicle in front.
And that means our dear LTA friend can kiss his performance goodbye?
